The Alzheimer’s treatment horizon has never looked brighter. More potential treatments are in development than ever before as a result of 30 years of accelerating insight and identification of promising targets for intervention. The Alzheimer’s Association is committed to sustaining this pace of discovery.
Arnie Whitman, a well-respected leader in the Seniors Housing and Care industry, is an Honoree this May at the Alzheimer’s Association Brain Ball in Washington D.C. The Brain Ball supports the mission of the Alzheimer's Association - to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Arnie was affected personally when his mother suffered from dementia and is determined to honor her memory and all those facing the hardships caused by the disease. He is working hard to raise money for this event and is asking for your help. More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, so chances are you personally know someone affected by this disease. We are all praying and hoping for a cure, but yet there is none. Arnie’s goal is to raise $3 million to support this event, through event sponsors and your fundraising. Please join us in this fundraising effort by honoring a person in your life affected by Alzheimer’s. With the support of the fine people from the Seniors Housing and Care Industry and all people who care (YOU), the CURE IS WITHIN OUR REACH!
